Minefield: Next generation (FF?) browser from Mozilla

Seems Mozilla is testing its next generation Firefox, codenamed minefield, though no reference is made to FF. I haven’t tested it yet but from what I read from people who’ve tested it, it is lightning fast...even faster than Google chrome...

This so-claimed version of Firefox uses the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine under the hood...which according to this is faster than Google’s V8

Minefield’s been known for a while. It’s the codename for their alpha/weekly releases.

Beta 1 of Firefox 3.1 also has that new JS engine, btw.
