I’m actually finding that having the right menu on a site is one of the hardest decisions I have to make when designing. I like all these effects and because I use the net every day, I know how to use them but sometimes you need simplicity. I’m not a fan of simple as I like the eye catching effects and the fact that design is moving beyond static, also JS menus are as good, if not better looking than flash menus. I really like the fish eye style but they can be some what choppy when you move your mouse over them. It’s difficult to get the even balance of looking good and being functional.
