I’m a bit new to HTML and CSS for that matter. Have been working on a site for a few months now and have the desire to implement some round cornered boxes on my page.
I follow the instructions in
http://www.modxcms.com/simple-rounded-corner-css-boxes.html and get a nice box that works well. However, since the background of my document is not white, around the rounded corners and entire box, there is the thin white border of the containing div. The image itself was made with a transparent background... so I’m not sure why this is happening. The easiest way to see an example of this is to go to the link above and add the following to the css (I used firefox developer bar):
#content p {
background:green;}
When you scroll down to the blue box, notice that it has white around the edges now with the green background. Can someone advise how I can change that containing div background in this case? When I try the usual method, nothing happens, perhaps due to the background image that is supposed to fill up the containing div.
