blog parse error

hi there, i’m following the tutorial at http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Basic_Blog to set up a blog. am getting the individual blog pages working alright, only the initial ’list’ page is bringing up an error when i click on it in the nav. error is ’PHP Parse Error Error: Missing argument 18 for ditto’. i’ve put a screen grab off the whole error msg up at http://cheerytomato.com/modx_error.png if anyone would care to offer thoughts? have found a similar thread only the fellow came to the conclusion it was a problem with his hosting company and i’m testing locally at the moment.

Try updating your Ditto to the latest version, and use &parents instead of &startId. When you update Ditto, make sure to update both the snippet code in the manager, and the files in assets/snippets/ditto. It looks like you have mismatched Ditto code; that last parameter, $randomize, was introduced fairly recently.

thank you thank you! i did that just now and i’m not getting the error page anymore, that’s gold. really appreciate your help and how quickly you responded. done and dusted in what, 5 minutes?!!
