XtdSlider .1 - Jquery Coda slider plugin

I made the coda slider from http://jqueryfordesigners.com/coda-slider-effect/ into a plugin. Then I added all of the scollTo options as parameters. And also added the ability to create the tabs automatically similar to http://www.ndoherty.com/demos/coda-slider/1.1.1/

Options:
createTab - whether to create tabs automagically or not
tabPosition - either ’top’ or ’bottom’
textTransform - (modify titles of tab names according to css text-transform
easingFunc - function for easing
easingTime
navClass - choose the class of your navlist

and some others. Let me know if it works for you.

So this is really old. It may help some people. It may make you pull your hair out. Unfortunately, I cannot offer any support for it.

I can only find images, .js and .css files in the zip.
Should there be some code for the plugin somewhere?

The plugin is jquery.xtdslider.js.

I’m releasing version .2 now. The extra parameter is:
tabName (takes any attribute from the panels and makes it the text of the tabLinks). Example would be title. Defaults to id.

This example uses title as the tagName.

You might need to modify your base href. I’ve had some errors if you’re base href points to the site root.

When installing this module I just get a blank page.
I installed the module .js file in the modules folder, and the folder I uploaded to the modules folder.
Any help with this?

You would use ditto or plain html to create the html. This package is just javascript + css that makes a nice slider effect. Similar to: http://jqueryfordesigners.com/coda-slider-effect/

Could anybody please be so kind and tell me howto install and use this?
I was implementing the codaslider manually when I stumbled upon this post and I would really like to use it – but I don’t know how.

I copied everything to /assets/plugins/xtdslider/,
created a new plugin called ’xtdslider’ and copied the contents of ’jquery.xtdslider.js’ into it.

And now?

So, since I understood that this is no modx plugin but a jquery plugin, things are a bit clearer.

But...

I can’t get this to work in modx.

I tried using the demo.html in modx. I made a fresh template and everything is loading fine. But no slider.
I also logged out of the manager to avoid conflicts with mootools. Any idea why this could happen?
