I personally use TweetDeck and used to use Twhirl. Twhirl is faster but TweetDeck has some nifty features like Groups and integrated search. Both work well on Vista.

On Twitter: I have made both contacts and money using Twitter this year. It is well worth keeping on. Follow smart folks and some thought leaders and share, help and opine.
