This is not exactly a question, it is more a place where I can discuss a project I’m working on. Since I’m the only MODx user on Svalbard (as far as I know), it is naturally no one to talk MODx with up here.
The project is to create a dynamic determinekey(?) for plants. The princip is to be able to choose between different plant descriptive key words, for then to get up all the plants that have the current descriptions.
For example, from a list of flowercolors I choose yellow flower. This will give me a list of all the yellow flowers. Of these, I can choose plants with for example four petals. This will decrease the selection to all those who have four yellow petals. Then I choose, for example, types of leaves. In the end, I’m left with just the plant that meet the criteria.
How this will be resolved I do not know completely yet, but I’m playing around with the idea to try with tags and tvExplorer and tvEditor combined with several Dittocalls. The problem is to find the method to first choose a criterion, and so be able to choose a new criteria among these criteria.
Of course, if any of you by chance have good suggestions for possible solutions, I am very grateful.
