What will be the best a JavaScript Library ?

I want to begin to learn a JS library, but with Prototype/Script.aculo.us, Mootools, jQuery,... I don’t know what will be the best choice.
So, for you, what is or will be the best JS library ?... and why

I am not a heavy JS user but I really like JQuery. I find it to be very powerful, there are many plug-ins available, and I understand the syntax well. And most of all t plays well with others, there is a built in conflict prevention feature to help minimize library conflicts.

I’ve worked with most of them, and done some raw AJAX as well, and I’d have to agree that jQuery is one of the nicest libraries. I’m working with extjs only because the new 0.9.7 Manager uses it, but I find it’s more geared towards "web application" development, and isn’t really the best choice for simple effects like menu dropdowns or accordions. So I would say either MooTools or jQuery.
