ajax menu disapears behind flash elements!!

i have built a few sites using modx and love it, thanks guys.
on my last site i have come across a problem that i´m really struggling with and its nothing to do with modx specifically but i was hoping someone here could help me out:
the drop downs from the ajax menu dissapears behind some flash elements that i have on the site (www.tailormadeandalucia.com)
I have tried setting the param to opaque and giving the flash lower z index than the div containing the flash elements...no luck i also tried wmode=transparent........ no luck.
any ideas? i can´t get paid till i figure this out and the rent is coming up............
ps. if u are a mac user like me it´ll all look fine, u have to wait for someone using windows to tell u how painful things are in the real world

I can’t find the page that has the problem in Firefox or IE on Windows XP!
However, you might want to look at the site in IE6 (still a lot of users).

yeah sorry i should have said....i gave up in the end and stuck in a news feed above the flash buttons so that the dropdowns didnt interfere anymore.... a bit of a cop out tho, i would like to find some documentation on this for future ref.
does anyone know if ajax menus interact with flash elements in the same way as dHTML?

As far as I am aware, Flash objects always place themselves above other elements.

Unless you set the wmode to transparent in the objects parameters.
