I got a huge 1.2 MB magazine scan down to 880 KB using this little gem. I’m planning on using this on all of my files during an "visual refresh" I’m planning for my site in a few weeks.

It works very well. I don’t use it that often because I can semi optimize most of my images in Fireworks but if you are trying to shave every last byte down on large sprites it is killer. Its compaction like no other.
