ajax login for manager?

I don’t suppose there is a away to create a ajax style login box in a template that would log you in to the manager without having to go to the /manager url?

Could be a nice idea for registered admins using TV...

Sure. There’s a snippet kicking around the repository that does this (I forget the name right now, but search for "manager" and you’ll find it). I’ve used a modified version of it on several sites to control access to store, eCard, and other admin pages.
