New App that runs IE5.5, IE6, IE7 and IE8 in one

Hi,

Recently I posted a query here about whether it was possible to run multiple versions of IE on a single Vista installation. Seeing as no one knew of a way of doing this (without virtual machines) I thought my discovery may be of use to someone.

I came across IETester completely by accident, but it does an awesome job of putting the rendering engines of each version of IE into one interface, which works fully on Vista.

Its verson 0.2 and crashes a lot, but I’ve saved a shed load of time already cross-browser testing.

Hope it’s some use

This looks like a great tool. I’ve found installing multiple IE versions to be unreliable (and sometimes destructive) so this looks like a great alternative.

browsershots.org comes in handy when you don’t have access but requires patience !

did you try the IE8 opton?
like 90% of all sites I teste did not work in IE8 including modxcms.com

Does not work with flash. If you have a menu in flash there’s no point in going there.
