The page that aligns left has the text wrapped in <p></p>, whereas the pages that align right have the text in the div only. So you have a <p> style that is overriding your footer div style. I would make the style apply to #footer p myself (so that people without stylesheets will get some block spacing).
*sigh* always the simple things that I miss. Thanks, for some reason I have a separate template for that page, and indeed it was paragraphed.

I just found my own simple CSS error that cost me an hour of banging my head on the table this morning, so I know how you feel (I had two elements with the same id - duh!).
