Needless to say FTP is quite important in the webdesign process... when I was a Windows user, I used FileZilla and when I switched to Mac I ended up adopting Cyberduck.

Lately, I have found it to be unsatisfactory (unexpectedly closing during a transfert...) and it annoyed me enough to start looking for an alternative.
I knew of Fetch, Transmit or Interarchy but did not click with those... that’s when I found YummyFTP and frankly, I am impressed !

I don’t know if anyone has tried it, but it’s VERY fast and it has very helpful features like aliases or ftp watchers, and that’s just a few of those.

Transmit is cool, definitely, but I like Yummy better smiley

FYI : Full version is not free, you have to buy to unlock the advanced features...

Thanks for the tip, I have been looking around for an FTP client (I currently use Fetch but it lacks some features that I like such as synchronizing and stuff like that. I will download and try out the demo period and see what I think.

I must say I am pretty impressed so far, not only about the features but how well they’re build into the interface... really, I think I’ll buy it !

See above (first post wink ) I switched from Cyberduck which I have been using for a while now but I am pretty annoyed at it’s bugs lately (maybe it’s the fact I run Leopard, don’t know...).

Anything you like especially more (besidesLeopard support which we do not use)?
