Plesk 8.2 here

So now we have to debug plesk to find the problem...

So it’s not Plesk.... We all have different versions. The thing we have in common is the version of phpMyAdmin which was released around Christmas.

I think that maybe its a combination of the 2?

I will try later to use phpmyadmin outside a plesk session to see what happens

If you are using .htaccess to enable rewrite rules for friendly url’s, then this is likely a configuration conflict between the rewrite rules for MODx and whatever Apache craziness is configured by Plesk for PhpMyAdmin.

I see the added string inside MODx when I edit a page, not only on the "live" site. So I don’t think it is a .htaccess problem, because it can’t change your documents...

I had a thought... what happens if you export to a csv file instead of sql? And have you tried different compatibility modes?

Yes, but no result, always "?phpmyadmin=" added

I tried also to use the same versin of phpmyadmin (2.8.2.4), but outside Plesk and ...... no "?phpmyadmin=" added so I presume it’s a Plesk bug and not a phpmyadmin bug!!
