Weirdo IE business, error only on first try

I’ve set up a basic site using MODx but there’s a weird thing where if visiting the homepage http://www.hollytrail.co.nz/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">of this site in Internet Explorer 6 (possibly 7), if you try going to most pages in the website there’s no problems, but the gallery bungs up, then needs a refresh to carry on properly.

Anyone know what’s going wrong here?

Could be a cache issue - as far as modx goes, I have never had a need for caching, except in nested ditto statements. I general nothing is cached - except some php on the back-end.

Cacks out in IE7 (the gallery) I had never seen such a thing before this.

Here is the why and wherefore. IE7 Doesn’t like some DOM stuff that is present in Mootools and more importantly Slimbox. I am no Javascript or DOM guy but from what I understand it has to do with the way IE 5.5, 6 an 7 treat DOM events. Here is the MS KB article about this problem.

I love learning new stuff. Oh wait I already knew IE chewed.

Thanks for the help, I spent a good 10 mins googling with no luck. That’s it exactly so I should be right now. I had a feeling it was JS .
