Loading and changing text/graphic from sub pages with out a page refresh?

I hope someone can help with this.

Me not having any programming knowledge to speak of.

I have a page here...

I have an area in the middle of the home page with buttons on the left

• Know Your Applicants
• Why Screen
• Hands On Approach
• Quick Turn Around

and text/graphic area on the right. I want to change the text/graphic with each button click without reloading the page. Currently the buttons are generated with Wayfinder, and link to another page. I would like to pull the text/graphic from those sub pages rather than linking to them. Is this possible to do? Is there any easy way to do that in MODx?

I tried Flash and that seemed too complicated to use with MODx. So I looked for a javascript method and interfacing that with MODx was just as bad. It doesn’t matter to me if it’s preloaded or uses Ajax.



I’ve been trying to figure it out for almost two weeks now. Or maybe more. I’ve lost track.

You could use a combination of Ditto and Javascript. Ditto would load everything into the page source, while the Javascript would first hide the main content blocks, then display them upon their links being clicked.
