The best way to make a compare-two-elements-on-a-site?

Hope someone can give me a starting-clue on these: I making a site where you can choose from lists and compare to elements on the same page, side by side.

What is the best technic to use here, two side-by-side-IFRAME, ordinary columns and reload the hole page, or AJAX?

I would use Ajax, with proper degradation to a full page reload if the client does not support Javascript.

Thanks. I have seen this: http://demos.mootools.net/Ajax.Advanced, and I will try to see if this can do the job. If my programming skills reach that far.

Or maybe someone has another example?

Always just two elements, and the only thing that is to be loaded in each part is a single, ordinary modx-document. The hole thing will have it’s own modx-template.

Yes it’s one of those comparison table thingis, in it’s simplests form.

I’ll try an AJAX-solution this weekend  , but if someone has a good example for me I’ll be veery glad. 

I have to rethink the hole thing. I can’t just load a hole document via URL in an AJAX-frame, because it is connected to a template, and the javascript I tried in my AJAX-call loads the hole document, with template, body and all html/css.

What I have to find out is to make the AJAX-call to only load the Content of a document, and not the hole document via URL.

PUH!
