Mootools based simple slideshow.

I like what I see with mootools Asset.Images demo. I just want a simple little box that fades from image to image without any interaction or clickability. All of my thumbnails on my site are a static size. If possible I would like to pull images from tv’s using a ditto call. A hardcoded list will be just fine as well. Looking around I see some very nice slideshow implementations based on mootools, but they are way more than I would ever want on my site. Is there something already out there that I haven’t found or am I looking at learning js or would making an flv be easier?
