gwidgets help?

I have switched over from thickbox to gwidgets. Thickbox was a bit bloated for what I needed. I have done everything I can think of to make gwidgets work but no luck.

http://sweetskies.fruitwerks.us is my site. The home page and the faq page are trying to use gwidgets.

If anyone has a few minutes to look and see if I have missed something I would appriciate it.

it seems that something is wrong in you prototype.js

hmm.. never had an issue with prototype before

well this is interesting! the .wtf was the copy on my server, and the .js is fresh from the source. They are the same version.

So something was indeed wrong there, but it did not change anything related to gwidgets

I have tried multiple versions of prototype.js. Firebug reports the above error on all but the beta 1.6, that has two different errors. I am not all that convinced that prototype is causing the problem.

I have confirmed that I am using the same versions of all the js used on the gwidgets demo site. I’m so lost..

ok -

on the test pages under the Home section everything has been set to a minimal.

I have turned off compression on the server.
Changed over to UTF-8.
Fixed doc type header.

- the firefox web dev toolbar states;

$(this.idOverlay,this.idFrame,this.idWindow,this.idLoading).invoke(’hide’);

is not a function (gwidgets.js) - this does not happen on the demo site.

At this point I am ready to try something else, but I can’t find anything with the nifty inline expander and the lightbox, I also have a page that uses iframe content.

jquery was causing most of the problems, I also have some CSS conflicts.

I have the inline expander working... everything else is still buggy.

the gbox function does not like remote images.
