Anyone tried this out yet? It might be interesting to compare with Safari on the Mac to see if it basically looks and behaves the same. That would make testing site designs a whole lot easier.

Just installed it and tested a couple of pages. I was pretty dubious about the ’fastest browser’ claim, being an Opera fan, but I have to say it’s pretty damn fast. Renders my css and js nicely too which is a relief. If this engine is consistent with the native version then we can kiss browsercam goodbye.

Is it not styled "apple-like" or don’t you just not like their style? if it’s the later, welcome to the band! I have newer liked apple’s styling and have thought that there must be something wrong with me.

Now they need to come out with a Linux version. I just switched to Ubuntu a couple weeks ago, and I pretty much only boot up XP to view designs in IE7 since then. I guess I should finish setting up that virtual XP desktop...
Personally I like Apple’s styles OK. What I hate is that you can’t change them! And don’t get me started on how iTunes reorganizes all your music files according to its own idea of what’s the "right" way...
My scroll on my laptop’s trackpad does not work in Safari for XP. So much for using that.

They’ll surely be loads of bugs and security problems with it initially as already revealed on slashdot, but very cool and interesting nonetheless!

Wow, will try it at once. FF 2.0.0.4 is causing a lot of problems for me (heavy memory load, freezing for minutes sometimes), so it would be an alternative... If only there would be the FF-extensions for safari.
