Hello fellow MODx’ers,
I’m currently working on a site whose design revolves around a "sketch" theme, with hand-drawn elements. Some fixed-height sections require the use of custom scroll bars, as the attached picture illustrates. This a specific request made by the design team.

I’m aware of IE specific CSS properties to change the look of scroll bars, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I’ve read some mentions of javascript methods to achieve something like this, but up ’till now haven’t been able to find anything specific.
I guess this is something that can be achieved somewhat easily with Flash, but I’d prefer to stick to "the basics" if possible:
- Does anyone know a technique that’ll allow me to achieve this result with xhtml/css coding?
- If not feasible with pure xhtml/css/javascript, how could I integrate a flash-based scroll bar in my xhtml template?
I appreciate any hints you might have regarding this.
