CSS lesson of the day ( solved but questions remain )

However if I change it to ...



The "li" style becomes global, as in it doesn’t need to be wrapped in the "id div" anymore, as seen here....

...easy to fix, but took a lot of time to find.

Of course it does... Correct syntax would be:

OK, thread title changed ( from "Win IE6 bug of the day" ).

Would have helped if Firefox had reacted to the faulty syntax as well.

Lesson learnt, don’t immediately place the blame on IE ( as opposed to myself ) for anomalies regarding css syntax.

Don’t feel bad - I’ve done that a bazillion times myself...

Nah, go ahead and blame IE. You’ll be right 99.99% of the time!

ROFL ... well, I agree with Susan!

I blame IE for everything it does to crap-up my CSS!

Most of my time styling goes in to making a webpage look right in IE.
