strange page rank

Hi,

on my site the homepage has a page rank of 2, but the contact page and roadmap page (which just says coming soon) have a page rank of 4. this makes no sense to me, does anyone know why this would happen?

My guess would be there are more (worthy) websites (back-)linking to those pages, as that’s the way Google calculates the pagerank.

yes, i guess this can tell you what is the problem. generally all the seo’s exchange links for the home page. because if the crawler can visit your index page then it will scan your inner pages and that will mean page rank in inner pages.

it would have been better if you would have given the link, then i could have told you what was the exact problem.
also look at the log of your website (stats) to analyse the traffic. this will give you an idea. and put a link of site map which contains the link of all your inner pages and put that link as a footer and place it on all your pages.
