Sub package updating after installing package from build script?

Hello all,

I am working on a template for MODX Revo (Flexibility https://github.com/DESIGNfromWITHIN/Flexibility) and I use a custom build script to create a package to install.
My template includes Wayfinder (and other packages) and all is installed correctly.

But now my question is how users can update the Wayfinder package after they have installed my package.
The included packages (like Wayfinder) are installed correctly by my package, but are not listed in Package Management after...

How can I include packages in my custom package install and still have them listed in Package Management?

The idea:

Use Packman to create a packages with all needed sub-packages, then include this package in my own custom script.
Works like a dream!
