Hello all,
Can anyone recommend a very simple, well-documented PHP-based RSS parser? I’ve had mixed success with Magpie, and can’t get NewsParserX working.
I’d be happy to keep using Magpie, but note the problem on the following site:

Clicking headlines within categories returns only the top story.
I’m stumped.

System environment:
ModX version: 0.9.6.2
Server OS & Vs: FreeBSD 6.2 ; Apache 2.2.14
PHP Vs: 5.2.11
MySQL Vs (client and server): 5.0.45
PDO_MySQL installed?: PDO Driver for MySQL, client library version5.0.45
Browser type and vs: tried with IE8 and Firefox3.6.14.
opcode caching? (ex: eAccelerator, APC, winCache, xCache): Unsure- I’ve located detectopcodecache.class.php, but not sure how to view output.
Errors in /logs/error.log: Not sure where directory is located.
any other environment data: Unsure.
We do not have root access to server.

ModX version: 0.9.6.2
That’s a vintage version, man.
Try to upgrade to the current Evolution version: 1.0.5
