As the title to this post suggests, I am trying to use a custom validation snippet for the Register snippet that is part of the Login package by Shaun McCormick. I have followed the instructions on
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login.Register. Despite several variation, I am unable to get the custom validation snippet to trigger any response at all (as if the validation snippet wasn’t being called from the Register snippet at all.
I am calling my validation snippet from a form field as:
<input type="text" name="address:customValidator" id="address" value="[[+address]]" />
I have a snippet called customValidator, I have tried the example script and stripped it down to the most basic level returning "Hello World", but I get nothing.
Any ideas? I am using Revo version 2.07 and Login 1.5.2
