Need to reference a Template Variable from my homepage on all pages via a chunk

My homepage has a docid = 1 and I’d like my Template Variable "Quote" that is specific to the homepage to be referenced in a chunk that I’m including on other pages.

I feel that there is something easy that I’m missing here....can anyone help?
