Integrating with system events

Hey there, i am been thinking about if there is any professionals around that wants to give advice or just some samples.
Then im asking, has anyone here got thier Simple Machines Forum (SMF) working with the MODx applications and system events, such as WebLoginPE.
If so then i would be really grateful if you could just tell me how you did it?
