Is it possible within MODx to modify the call that opens the Resource Browser so it opens to a specific sub-folder (IE - when clicking on INSERT for an image tv)? This assumes the sub-folder exists on the server.

I have been working with MultiImageTV (http://www.kunane.com/modx/multi-image-tv.html), which makes a call to ’BrowseServer’ - this lead me to the OpenServerBrowser call in tmplvars.inc.php

From this forum (http://cksource.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7254), it appears there’s a parameter (StartupPath) which would do what I need, but when I add it to the OpenServerBrowser url being passed, it gets ignored.

Is there something I’m missing or am I just talking crazy talk here?

If you’re using Evo, you can set the file browser path in the user’s User tab.

Sorry, didn’t see this reply til now..

I might not have been clear -- I am using Evo but the question doesn’t pertain to the File Manager (Elements > Manage Files). Rather, if I have an Image TV for a resource, I would like to open the "Resource Browser" to a sub-folder within the ’images’ folder, based on the name of the parent and child resources.

EG - if my parent resource is named "stills" and the child is "personal", then clicking on the ’Insert’ button would open the browser to ’assets/images/stills/personal’

MultiImageTV dynamically creates similarly functioning image input fields, so I wondered if I couldn’t pass something to the BrowseServer onclick call that would open a sub-folder. But this is where I’m stuck, as any "additional" info seems to be ignored (ie - the Resource Browser always defaults to the ’assets/images’ folder)

        I appreciate any help!
