    Hi,

I am the first time here and switched from Joomla to MODx because somebody told me that this is the best cms out there.

So I got some weird problems, the first one you can see at the screenshot, the toolbar doesn’t look like it should be, what is the problem there?

The second problem I got is my slideshow on the right side, it doesn’t work like the jQuery wouldn’t be loaded.

I hope you guys can help me out.

Log out of the manager and see if it works. It’s likely a CSS conflict on your site and duplicate loading of jQuery for the QM+ toolbar. There’s an option to turn off loading of jQuery in the Quick Manager plugin.

In the markup I don’t see the jquery library being loaded. You need to add the reference to jquery int he <head> section. The slideshow parameters are there but not the jquery library.

Also, depending on the code/plugin that you are using for the slideshow, it may not be compatible with certain versions of jQuery. QM+ loads jquery-1.3.2.min.js which could be conflicting with the version you want to load (however, currently there is no version of jquery being loaded, not sure if you removed it as part of the debugging process).

Yes I deleted the jquery because I thought that modx doesn’t like it, I had jquery 1.2.6.min maybe it was because of this? Yes I disabled the QM but the slideshow wasn’t sliding grin but the most frustrating thing is how the QM looks like undecided

// Ok now i uploaded the jquery-1.3.2.min and the slideshow works but the QM still doesn’t look like (still like in the screenshot in my first post) it should be.
