Doc Manager, TV Batch edit not working

Hello, I am trying to use the doc manager in EVO 1.0, I have updated the doc manager to the one used in 1.0.4 to make sure it’s the latest version. Basically I have 200 documents that all have the same TV which is using a drop-down menu and I have to see all the docs with the same drop-down value. The doc manager works with single documents but when I try changing any more than one document it gives the successfully done message but the values are not changed.

Is there a compatibility issue with TV drop-downs, batch management? I tried a text based TV and seems to work but not the drop down options. Any advice would be super!

Hi,
I found that Doc Manager didn’t work in Evo 1.03, at least the part I wanted to use. I simply upgraded Evo to 1.04 and that fixed it for me. That’s not a lot of detail, but I hope it helps in some way.

Thanks but I tested this on 1.04 and it’s still not working.

It’s not taking values from TV drop downs and saving them even though the Doc Manager said it was successful. Anyone else got an idea?

I’m found the same thing - the hard way, by losing a bunch of text values. This was with a combination of radio buttons and text field TVs attached to a page template. It told me that the replacement was successful, but it wasn’t, as old values were lost.

I also notice in the upper left part of the screen some variables being echoed, e.g. "tv1tv5".

Looks to me like something is busted, but I don’t know where yet ...
