Changes not saving to database

hai
im new with modx. im using modx on local server its working fine.. but i have installed it no live server then found the following issues

• Changes doesn’t effect the database all records remains same.

• I hv read the documentation for eform and do as directed for the form (efeedback form). on local server it displays error that "Main mail: Mailer was unable to send mailCould not instantiate mail function."
  
  But on live site it show page not found error with some script found in URL like this
  
  www.example.com/sitename/[~~]

More information would be helpful. Presumably you are using MODx 1.0.4 since you are using eForm. What server (IIS? Apache?) Please post your eForm snippet call (use the # icon in this comment editor’s toolbar to enclose the code in code tags so it is more readable).

Under what circumstances do changes not get saved? Check Reports -> System Events for an error log to see if there are any clues there.
