I have a potential client who wants to build a site that they can connect to their 4D database and their accounting software. I am new to this sort of thing, so can any of you tell me if this is possible?
In a nutshell, they want to pull info from their 4D database to populate product web pages, and they want to vary the info shown on those pages based on whether the user is logged in as a buyer, end user, or distributor.
Let me know if you need more information to go on, as I say I am new to this level of DB integration. Any links to articles or how-to guides are very appreciated.
