    Hi,

I installed the simple 2 gallery (http://modxcms.com/extras/package/619) module. Everything worked fine. Now i like to create a button inside the main menu which links to the gallery. I did not found anything on the web of how to do this. May somebody can explain me how. Thanks in advance!

I belive there is a simple solution.. No body have an idea?
      • I’m not clear on what you are trying to do. What do you mean by "main menu"? The Manager menu? The row of icons/links on the main Manager welcome page? Your site’s menu? And what do you mean by "the gallery"? The display on the front-end? The gallery management module?

          Thanks for your reply!

Sorry if i was not clear.

          The situation is following:

I installed the simple 2 gallery (http://modxcms.com/extras/package/619) module.
Now i like to have a button in my sites menu to the gallery so in the frontend all users are able to see the foto gallery.

I still could not figure it out how to do this.

I guess i give up on modx for a while and stay with joomla. Anyways it was a nice experience with the modx ajax interface, but the community is to low.

              Hi dimension,

just create a new ressource (document), name it e.g. "gallery", turn off "Rich Text" and place your Easy2Gallery call in the content field e.g. [ ! easy2? &glib=`colorbox` &gal_desc=`1` ! ] -> save the ressource and you’ll see your gallery on the frontend
the above call will produce a gallery like this: http://arslantic.co.id/evo/glib-colorbox.html
btw. this is the support thread for the verson you are using http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=49266 ...so it’s way more likely to get a response if you post your questions there smiley

@sharkbait you made my day (week) or may many years!!!

I really love modx, but this stoped me from working with it. Now i will go on developing, and as i thought its a simple solution.

                Thanks a lot!!!!
