    Every time if open the site it to scroll down. About 1500 pixels down. The most interesting - I have not changed anything.
    Apparently it’s somewhere in the CSS is set? But where?

      I had a look and it jumps down as you described, but once the page has loaded it goes back to the top.

      Seems to happen when loading all those table cells containing the spreads. My first suggestion would be to specify html height and width for the ’iimg’ images in those cells as the whole layout is being reshuffled and resized as each image loads.

      You could also temporarily comment out any scripts on the page to see if they are causing the issue.

      But I think the issue lies in your markup which seriously needs tidying up - you have hundreds of validation errors and it’s likely the browser is confused and struggling to interpret your markup:
      http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fvirtual-fortune-teller.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

      As an example:
      <img align=left src="res.php?path=art/collages/collage_51.jpg&h=150&w=150" class=iimg alt="The Celtic Cross spread" title="The Celtic Cross spread" drlightbox/></a>

      • Add in the quotation marks around your tag attributes (align="left" , class="iimg")
      • add html height and width (height="150" width="150")
      • Remove or correct ’drlightbox’ - whatever that is smiley

          i think this could help:
          .sorttable{min-height:430px;}

          why not use div’s?
            Evolution user, I like the back-end speed and simplicity smiley
