How easy is it to adapt an already made html site into modx and usue as a template thanks.

For the template, it’s quite easy. Just copy/paste your HTML page (use View Source in your browser), then go through it and replace the various content parts with appropriate MODx tags, such as a [[Wayfinder]] snippet call to generate your menu, and [*content*] for Evo or [[*content]] for Revo for each page’s content. There are several excellent tutorials on templates, including some video tutorials.
