So I’ve set up some access permissions, I have admin - access all and limited access for the client. I have turned on the config ’Show protected pages’

It’s seems that unless a file is set to ’All Resource Groups (Public)’ then a key icon is displayed on the file in the tree menu. So the key icon appears to signify the file is locked even though the client may have access to the file. It’s a little bit confusing. This isn’t a support request, although it may turn into one if it turns out I’ve configured something wrong smiley

    Any thoughts?

Hope you follow that, it’s a bit tricky to explain.

Well, yeah. The document is locked, so there is a key icon.

I think the point is that there should be some way to indicate that the user can’t actually access the documents he doesn’t have permission for. This should come in time; the ability to show all documents is fairly new, in response to requests for allowing users with limited permissions to be able to see the path to the documents he can access when they are contained by documents he does not have permissions to access. This feature definitely needs some fine-tuning, but at least for now it’s usable.

        Thanks for the reply.
It’s a minor issue but I wanted to mention it and also check that I was understanding it correctly.

        Many thanks

Good question, though; it’s got me thinking that it might be possible to use a different icon if the user can access the document.
