    Maybe this is better (works with richtexteditor (rte), as you said):

    [[!If? &subject=`[[getResourceField? &id=`1000` &field=`content`]]` &operator=`!=` &operand=`` &then=`[[getResourceField? &id=`1000` &field=`content`]]`]]

    You just have to create a Resource and add the id to the snippet above.
