    hi guys

my basic question relates to proper use of dynamically generated content in MODXCMS
shall I use TVs or there are some other ways to handle such issues?

    here is an ex.:
let’s suppose I have hundreds of business partner pages from US, each of them have a detailed page

i also have a category page listing all partners each of them having a short snippet and pagination in the bottom
this page has a filter option, for ex by use of text links
let’s suppose the user wants to get a list of all partners only from Michigan by clicking on the Michigan text link
after this on this same page the user gets partners snippets only from Michigan then clicking towards he can see more details about a particular partner from Michigan

well, I don’t know if I was clear enough smiley but hopefully someone will guide me through or give me some useful tip how to approach such an issue

    thanx in advance

      Hi,
If I were doing this type of scenario, I would use Ditto with Evo, and GetResources with Revo. This way you can collect all kinds of document information, summarize in multiple ways, and template the hell out of it anyway you want for display in summary all the way down to detail of one document. TV’s can be part of this process, serving as parts of your summary and detail displays.

TV’s are highly flexible, too, there may be ways to use that for this as well, someone may chime in.

      Good luck, D
