I have inherited a website that has been done in Modx but when I attempt to edit the template instead of seeing code, I ssee the following tag [*TemplateURL*]
Any ideas where this would point to and how I could find the actual template code? Thanks!

That’s a TV. Go check the Template Variables tab for that; it’s probably also specifically edited in at least some of the resources.
Thanks, I found it where you said it would be. So I’m assuming that whomever built it does so on Dreamweaver, etc. and would simply edit it there to make changes and upload it rather than in the online ModX edit box?

That is correct. It’s quite likely that this value is changed for different resources; check the individual resources’ TV fields. That one sounds like it’s for the home page.
