how to build templet from html css

hey,
i have psd and i want to made him modx templet i know only xhtml css ’
for my design i have home page and secendry pages’

how can i do it?

If all you have is .psd images, you’ll have to eyeball the image and create an HTML structure using the image parts for backgrounds. All the css and images will go in one folder, and your template (in the Manager) will be the HTML structure, with links to the css file wherever you put it. Basically, just like any HTML page, except with MODx tags instead of menus and other content areas.

I keep a selection of very basic HTML structures on hand so I can select one that is the closest fit to any images or screenshots I am given.

ok now ofter i build my site i want to do this thing:
i want to markup in the nav manu the button that i use him,

i mean if now i am in index, the home page button will be markup in deffrent way.
if now i go to about page the about buttom will bbw markup in deffrent way,
