Weblink button - what does it do?

I use MODx Evolution ver 1.0.2. I am wondering if the little button on the right side of Weblink (looks like two windows on top of each other) was meant to do anything?

Yes. Click on it, and you can now click on the document in the Document Tree that you want the weblink to point to (if your weblink is for an internal page). It works using the same code the "Parent" field uses.

The weblink button doesnt change to another icon like the parent one.

I know. Getting it to work at all was bad enough. I hate javascript.
