Upgrade from 1.0.0 to 1.0.2

I know this may sound stupid, but can someone show me a detail steps that I need to perform to upgrade modx evo 1.0.0 to 1.0.2. Modx evo 1.0.0 is the first version of modx that we installed about one month ago, I want to see what version 1.0.2 offers, but don’t really know if there is a documenation on how. Thanks.

Upgrading is pretty straightforward. As always, make a backup of your database and files in case something happens. Then upload the MODx 1.0.2 files on your server and run the install process again (navigate to you yoururl.com/install, this time on the install screen "Update Existing Site" should be the default choice. That’s what you want to select. In the next step make sure "Install Sample Website" is NOT checked as that will overwrite your entire website!! It should be unchecked by default, but just make sure. Then press Continue as before and the update should run fine.
