    Hiya, sorry if this is in the wrong forum (please move if it is)

    I’m new to modx and very very new to revolution.

    I’ve installed the software and uploaded my HMTL/CSS templates, I’ve managed to get my navigation working by installing wayfinder (didnt realise i had to install it).

    Now simple things like [(site_name)] - [*pagetitle*] -[(base_url)] don’t work.

    Is there a package I can download that allows me to print the most basic modx commands?

    Thanks
    Pete.

      Hey!

      Tag syntax has changed in Revolution.

      You have to use
      [[++site_name]] - [[*pagetitle]] - [[++base_url]]

      Refer to http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Tag+Syntax

          Hiya guys, I’ve stumbled across another question!

          [[Ditto? &startID=`1` &tpl=`testimonials`]]

          I’ve put this chunk in my template but it won’t show up,

          in my chunk i have <p>[[+TV]]</p>

          thanks

            Possibly you forgot to download and install Ditto? In any case, getResources is the Revolution replacement for Ditto, so you should probably be using that. The parameters are mostly the same.

            Also, make sure the docs you want to display are published and not hidden from menus.
