Not sure if this is the correct place to post undecided

Does anyone know of a way JS can inject data (a string) into a TV?

Scenario is we have a media player (jwplayer) that uses rss playlists to populate itself. We display alongside the media player; in a seperate div, the current related info for the video selected. This bit works great. What we then are attempting to do is use ditto (plus its tagging extension) to compile a related videos rss feed in another document. Again we have got this part to work when we directly add the &tags string to the ditto and combined getfield call.

Have tried various TV types but none appear to work. Currently using a textarea TV set with the HTML Generic Tag widget. Via the JS we can write to the div (with associated ID) of the widget but this doesnt populate the associated TV with the string? Here is the ditto call:

    [!Ditto? &parents=`13,14,15,16,17` &extenders=`tagging` &tagData=`keywords_1` &tagDelimiter=` ` &tags=`[[GetField? &docid=`12` &field=`tagsParse`]]` &tpl=`ditto_rss`!]

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks smiley
