Saving Resource not working

    Good Afternoon,

    I am getting this error message when I try to save a resource created with a template:

    [2010-09-14 15:45:57] (ERROR @ /connectors/element/tv.php) modTemplateVarTemplate: Attempt to set NOT NULL field rank to NULL

    Could anyone point me in the right direction for this? I tried searching for the error message on the forums and didn’t find anything.

      Sounds like a database with strict mode, and a table with a field set to NOT NULL but no default value.

        found the problem, not sure of the solution.

        I have a template variable that when it is blank it is causing the save not to happen. i do not see a place to make a template variable optional, is there such a thing?
