    Hi all,

I’ve been using MODx for 3 years now. I moved away from Joomla! around the time v1.5 came out. Since then, I’ve developed many successful enterprise-level solutions using MODx, including pure Flash UI sites driven by dynamic XML coming from MODx.

However, today I find myself in a situation that I believe I underestimated during the requirements gathering phase of a project. I’m building a Flash site for a show on a major children’s TV network, and they want kids to be able to register/login to the site and have personalized content.

I’ve been looking at WebLoginPE for user management, but it seems entirely geared towards HTML output. Does anyone have any suggestions on alternative solutions for registering users, allowing login & logout, and modification of profiles using calls from within Flash (either POST or GET), with XML data being returned to the Flash for user info and server responses (like success and error)?

On a side note, I’d also be very appreciative if anyone had any suggestions on allowing user submitted content w/ moderation *AND* multiple file upload as part of the same form. Right now I’m thinking of using the FileUpload add-on in conjunction with docAPI. Essentially, when the FileUpload successfully completes, it will pass all of the form meta data to docAPI and create an unpublished document in the CMS that will be published by a moderator.

    Thank you for your time.
