    Right Folks,

Bit of a simple question I guess.

All along I was using Evo and was major impressed with that.

Now its time to check Revo which Im led to believe is better (if it is possible to get better than evo I dont know, did everything I needed in a logical manner).

So I am just getting my head round it all.

Basically for evo I used reference the css files e.g. assets/templates/template/style.css

Now I have looked a some thread here which say that for Revo I can/should create a resource for the css file and have it in the DB. Is that correct? What about images?

I notice that there is not a templates folder in the assets folder? Can I just continue as I used to a create a folder called templates refernce from there.

I am a wee bit confused as to it all so if anyone has pointers to any decent Revo template tuts it would much appreciated grin

You can do it just like you do with Evo if you want to. Some people just have to play with all of their new toys grin grin

        Cool,

So the only real diff is that chunks etc have their syntax changed and its more flexible than Evo then is it? I know there are loads more but like from a designers POV

              My 2 cents:

Don’t put CSS files into the DB. The web server can server static resources (like CSS and JS) faster than it can do a whole PHP + MySQL request, and most of the time, you don’t want your manager users fiddling with the CSS files anyway. It makes them nice and visible to have them in the manager, but just because you CAN do it, doesn’t mean you SHOULD. There are times when it’s a necessity, but I can’t remember a single project where I needed to put CSS or JS files into the manager. It’s the same in Evo, by the way.
