Trying out the sample site on a fresh Revolution install. looks great. Login works. Except when I click ’Log out’ it doesn’t seem to happen. it refreshes the page but the page remains the same, including still showing the ’Log Out’ link. Anyone know whats going on?

this is the code from the Logout Chunk. Does it look right?

    <h4>You’re already logged in</h4>

    <span>Do you wish to <a href="[[~[[*id]]? &logout=`true`]]" class="button">Logout</a>?</span>

You will have to call the snippet un-cached. [[!...]]

ok so that didn’t work. But I did discover a way to get working login/logout. I’m not sure if it would be the ’right’ way to fix it but I installed ’login’ from the package manager and it added the sample login forms that come with the login package. then I went to Chunks>MODx Sample site>header and changed
        [[!Login? &loginTpl=`FormLogin` &logoutTpl=`Logout`]]
        to
        [[!Login]]
and now I can login, and logout. So the problem definitly seems to lie in the login/logout chunks provided with the sample site. Or is there a good reason its setup the way it is?

I know you solved the problem already but i think its not don through the proper way as when I tested it on Revolution it didn’t work with the method you said.
What I did to solve the logout problem was to edit the Logout chunk and change the URL of logging out to [[~[[*id]]? &service=`logout`]] instead of the default [[~[[*id]]? &logout=`true`]]. This made the system logout properly.
